Search for manifestations of left-right symmetry on e-e+ colliders
Description
The process of pair production of W bosons in the annihilation of polarized electron-positron beams is studied. An asymmetric left-right model based on the SU(2)L x SU(2)R x U(1)B-L gauge group is used in the analysis. Analytic expressions for differential and total cross sections are obtained in the improved Born approximation. The effect of the model parameters on the cross section is considered. It is shown that, in the case of RL polarization of e-e+ beams, manifestations of left-right symmetry can be significant even at the energies of LEP II. 8 refs., 6 figs
