Chamber for measurement of the scattering cross sections in the small-angle region

Description
A scattering chamber for simultaneous measurements in the scattering-angle region 10-1700 and in the angle regionless than or equal to100 is described. This is accomplished by increasing the radius of that part of the chamber which is used for measurements in the small-angle region. The construction of the chamber makes possible remote control of the rotation angles of the detectors and of their distances from the target to place at the center of the chamber any of the eight targets secured on a special rotary target disk, and to vary the angles between the plane of the target and the direction of the incident beam. Stepping motors are used for the remote control of the devices inside the chamber
