Description

The effect of Co60 gamma radiation on luminescence properties is studied for some ceramic materials synthesized on the base of α-corundum (crystal phase) and SiO2-ZrO2-Al2O3-MgO-MnO-CaO glass phase when glass content in ceramics varies from 25 to 47% is studied. The dependence of thermoluminescence (TL) and gamma-luminescence (GL) peak intensity of irradiated saples on the relation of amorphous and crystal phases and γ absorbed dose is shown. The conclusion is made on responsibility of trapping sites and luminescence centres of the crystal phase for the observed TL and GL peaks
