Consideration of the transport and diffusion processes of a gas mixture in the HTR primary coolant circuit

Description
The TINTE code has been established Juelich which allows to trace interaction of thermal and nuclear processes in the primary coolant circuit of a high-temperature reactor in two-dimensional representation under normal operation and accidental conditions. Extensions of TINTE include considerations of the transport and diffusion diffusion processes of a gas mixture in the primary coolant circuit. This process is shown to be described for each gas component by a differential equation very similar to those describing heat transfer across the gas and whose coefficients are in comparable orders of magnitude. Abstract (German)
In Juelich wurde das Rechenprogramm TINTE entwickelt, mit dem die Wechselwirkung von thermischen und nuklearen Vorgaengen im Primaerkreis eines Hochtemperaturreaktors in zweidimensionaler Darstellung bei Betriebs- und Stoerfallbedingungen verfolgt werden kann. Zu den Erweiterungen an TINTE gehoert die Behandlung der Transport- und Diffusionsvorgaenge eines Gasgemisches im Primaerkreis. Es wird gezeigt, dass dieser Vorgang fuer jede Gaskomponente durch eine Differentialgleichung beschrieben wird, die denjenigen fuer den Waermetransport durch das Gas sehr aehnlich ist und deren Koeffizienten in vergleichbaren Groessenordnungen liegen.
