Selection of refractive and diffractive contributions to inelastic scattering cross sections for light ions with energy E > 20 MeV/nucleon
Description
Refractive and diffractive contributions to inelastic scattering differential cross sections for light ions with mean energy from nuclei are determined. Low-lying collective nuclear states are excited in the process. Mechanism of 4 He - 40 Ca scattering at 100 MeV and 6 Li - 12 C scattering at 210 MeV is investigated. 20 refs., 2 figs., 1 tab
