Highlights: • Nanofabrication of BEA/MFI zeolite composites through confined space synthesis. • Alternated growth of BEA and MFI within 3DOm carbon by hydrothermal crystallization. • Overgrown of MFI crystals on 3DOm-i BEA by steam-assisted crystallization.
