Stripping with a Fomblin supersonic jet at 112.5 keV/nucleon
- 1. Lawrence Berkeley Lab., CA (USA)
Description
The Fomblin oil vapor cell stripper, used for years in the Abel injection line at the SuperHILAC at LBL, has been replaced with a supersonic jet of Fomblin, leading to a system that uses less oil, is easier to maintain, and gives improved transmission in the stripping region. 4 refs., 6 figs
