Description

After a brief report of a round table about the French nuclear deterrence, contributions presented to the French Senate addressed the following issues: the new geostrategic context and nuclear deterrence, the question of the adaptation of French means to present threats, and the relationship between the French deterrence, Europe and the NATO. A speech of the French President Jacques Chirac to French strategic air forces, and the hearing of the Minister of Defence are provided
