Description

Industrial shippers of radioactivity have a responsibility for emergency response to transportation accidents that involve their shipments. This responsibility is made up of three parts, beginning with proper package design and testing, going on to preplanning for emergencies and finally requiring prompt response to transportation accidents with expert help and advice. These responsibilities with reference to specific incidents are discussed
