Fusion via soft dipole mode and surface vibration modes

Description
Based on the double folding potential of ion-ion interaction, a research on the fusion reactions of a neutron-rich nucleus with heavy spherical nuclei is performed by taking account of the effects of soft dipole mode excitation of the halo nucleus and the surface vibration modes of the spherical nucleus as well. The properties of fusion reactions for such systems are explored in detail
