Cluster model of 11B and 11C
Description
We use the cluster model of Buck, Dover and Vary to describe the structure of the low-lying states of 11B and 11C nuclei as (α+7Li) and (α+7Be), respectively. We show that the calculated energy levels, magnetic dipole moments, electromagnetic B(M1) transition strengths and the ft value for the β-decay process 11C(β+)11B are in good agreement with experiment.
