Modified Gentilly-1 will provide clean process steam for La Prade

Description

The Gentilly-1 CANDU-BLW power plant is being modified by putting in reboilers so that clean steam (free of radioactivity) can be supplied to the La Prade heavy water plant. The sensitivity of the reactor core to variations in coolant pressure imposes restraints on variation of pressure in the steam drum. (N.D.H.)
