High-porous silicon nitride ceramics strength and failure
Description
The results of investigation of strength and creep of high porosity silicon nitride materials whose structure was preliminary formed from plate-shape skeletons elements of 75% porosity are presented. The influence of environment (nitrogen, air, and vacuum) and temperature on strength and creep was studied. The obtained results depend essentially on the structure of materials defined by the thickness of the elements
