Structure functions of deep inelastic scattering in the region of intermediate x in QCD
Description
The valence quark contribution to structure function of deep inelastic νp scattering in the region of intermediate x and Q2=5-20 GeV2 (where x=Q2/2ν, Q2 is the momentum square transferred to hadron, Q2=-q2, ν/m is the transferred energy, m is the hadron mass), i.e. the distribution of valence d quarks in proton dV(x), is calculated in QCD. The results of the calculations without any fitting parameters are in agreement with experiment
