Dimeric rhenium halogenido-carboxylates with metal-metal bond of high multiplicity
Description
A technique for preparation of dimeric rhenium halogenide-carboxylates from KReO4 and K2ReCl6, without intermediate stages of synthesis, has been developed. The compounds, of a general formula of Re2Cl4(CH3COO)2x2L (where L is H2O, DMPA, DMAA, DMSO), were prepared. The complexes were identified by the data of element analysis, electron absorption spectra, infrared spectra, and thin-layer chromatography. The results of studies on corresponding chloro-derivatives are given
