The author presents the applications of CPLD in a computerized multi-channel nuclear spectrum acquisition system which was designed by means of EDA technique and CPLD device. The working principle and design methods of this digital circuitry and system integration with CPLD are also introduced. The features and technical points in system designation are discussed as well
