Description
IAEA's Incident and Trafficking Database (ITDB) has reported more than three thousand unauthorized or criminal incidents involving nuclear and other radioactive materials as of Dec 2019. Nuclear forensic analysis plays a vital role in such incidents for the examination of the confiscated or questioned material in identifying the origin. Building an efficient nuclear forensic analysis capability involves the development of nuclear forensic library and nuclear forensic analysis tool. Nuclear forensic library is the structured storage of nuclear forensic signature data of known nuclear and other radioactive materials against which the questioned material is forensically analyzed
