On the investigation of the nature of multichannel resonances on the basis of the combined hamiltonian and S-matrix methods

An analytical expression is obtained for elements of two-channel S-matrix in terms of the coupled channel method. It rather convenient for studying the different types of resonances. Conditions are shown which the potentials of channel coupling and wave functions of separate channels have to satisfy, so as to cause resonances of different nature. The possibilities are also detected for multichannel resonances of unknown types
