1991 annual report

Description

Data are given on the electricity generation by the Czech Power Company (CEZ) plants, of their sales, foreign relations, economic results, development and social policy, as well as of changes in the CEZ's organizational structure. The structure of sources in electricity generation was the same in 1991 as in the previous years. Electricity generation was most contributed to by thermal power plants (74.72%) followed by nuclear power plants (23.50%), whereas the contribution of hydroelectric power plants was a mere 1.78%, which was 0.54% less than in 1990. The total installed capacity of the CEZ company facilities as of 31 December 1991 was 12,329 MW; out of this, 9300 MW was in thermal power plants, 1760 MW in nuclear power plants and 1205 MW in hydroelectric power plants. The specific fuel consumption by the Dukovany NPP for the electricity generation and for electricity supplies was 11.2462 and 12.0233 GJ/MWh, respectively, in 1991. (Z.S.). 14 tabs., 10 figs
