Description

In contrast to gamma radiation, photoinactivation of aminopeptidase was more profound in air than in N2, indicating that oxidative reactions are predominantly involved in photoinduced inactivation. The results are discussed in view of possible differences in the mechanisms underlying radiation and photoinduced inactivation of proteases
