- 1. CEA Cadarache, 13 - Saint-Paul-lez-Durance (France). Laboratoire d'analyses biologiques et medicales
Description
Knowledge on 237Np is spread and varied despite manipulation of this radioelement is increasing in nuclear industry. Neptunium have both radiologic and chemical toxicity, and usual treatments are ineffective or even dangerous in the case of contamination. Effective treatment is not yet available. A review related to principal features of 237Np (physico-chemistry, biokinetic, toxicity, treatments) is proposed). (authors)
