Radiation-induced color centers in LiLuF4

Description
Radiation-induced color centers in LiLuF4 crystal are reported for the first time their spectral-luminescent and kinetic characteristics are presented. The interpretation of the results of the given study may be suggested as follows (values for LiIF4 are given in brackets); the band 248 mm (282) is conditioned by F-centers; the bands at 311 (340) and 376 (430) nm belong to structurally different hole centers; the bands observed at 518 (636) and 598 nm are conditioned by structurally different F2-centers
