Description
The longitudinal and transverse polarization of prompt muons produced at approximately 2 GeV/c transverse momentum by the interaction of 28.5 GeV protons on tungsten has been measured. Both components of the polarization were found to be consistent with zero: Psub(L)=-0.15+-0.18 and Psub(T)=0.05+-0.05. (Auth.)
