Features of plastic bend of molybdenum and tungsten single crystals and structural stability under high temperature effects

Description

Methods of metallography, X-ray diffraction analysis and electron microscopy were applied to reveal specific features of plastic bending in Mo and W single crystals under conditions of deformation with various ores of bending. The features revealed are correlated with the quantity of coinciding dislocation slip systems near outer side of sheet specimens on bending with predominant normal stresses. The possible reasons for the influence of theses features on lateral bend occurrence as well as on the tendency of bent crystals to recrystallization under high temperature effects are analyzed.
