The application of nuclear physics method NERD to the solution of some thermonuclear problems
- 1. AN RU, Tashkent (Uzbekistan). Inst. Yadernoj Fiziki
Description
The method of NERD(neutron elastic recoil detection) of depth profile determining simultaneously of all hydrogen isotopes in samples with implanted hydrogen. The method is based on registration of energy distributions of recoil protons from elastic scattering of fast neutrons. It was shown that this techniques was very effective in investigation of hydrogenation of carbon and boron-carbon protecting coatings of limiters of existing and future tokamaks. The hydrogen isotope analysis in thick layers deposited in tokamaks was done. (A.A.D.)
