Magnetic properties of TbxSm1-xNi5 alloys with competing one-ion anisotropy
Description
Magnetic properties of TbxSm1-xNi5 alloys with strong competing one-ion anisotropy and weak exchange interactions are studied. It is stated that magnetic ordering of dissimilar rare earth components is mutually independent, that is due to almost reciprocal orthogonality of their magnetization. Theoretical notions relatively the type of concentration-temperature magnetic phase diagram for alloys with competing anisotropy of noninteracting ferromagnetic components are verified by experiments. The values of intersublattices molecular fields are estimated
