Longitudinal muon spin relaxation in the mixed phase of anisotropic type II superconductors
Description
In the case of anisotropic superconductors, the induction field h vector(r vector), which describes the flux line lattice, has nonzero components perpendicular to the vortex axes, leading to a muon spin depolarization also in a longitudinal field configuration, where the initial muon polarization is directed parallel to the flux lines. This characteristic depolarization function is discussed for single crystal uniaxial superconductors, specially with respect to its dependence on the London penetration depth. (orig.)
