Radiation-induced extraskeletal fibrosarcoma: simulating locally recurrent carcinoma of breast
Description
Radiation-induced extraskeletal fibrosarcomas following treatment for breast cancer are rare. A 66-year-old female presenting a locally recurrent breast cancer is the ninth case reported. Clinical manifestations, difficulty in histologic diagnosis, and surgical management are discussed. Strong consideration should be given to aggressive surgical treatment for these seemingly innocuous fibrous growths
