Temperature dependence of electric conductivity of zirconium dioxide-rare earth oxide solid electrolytes
Description
In a wide range of temperatures (720-1770 K) precise measurement of conductivity of poly- and monocrystal samples of solid electrolytes of the composition 0.9ZrO2-0.1R2O3 (R=Nd, Gd, Ho, Y, Yb, Lu, Sc) is made. It is shown in the Arrhenius coordinates the temperature dependence of electric conductivity presents a broken line, the number of linear parts in which does not depend on the type of addition ion. A decrease in the number of linear parts and a shift of low-temperature break to the range of high temperature with an increase in the radius and R-ion polarizability are pointed out
