Computed tomography in the diagnosis of splenic infarction

The demonstration of splenic infarction by computed tomographic scanning is described in the following report. CT yields a characteristic pattern which is highly diagnostic. The role of angiography and scintigraphy in splenic infarction is discussed. (orig.)
