A new method for evaluating weak leakage gamma-ray dose using a 3''φx3'' NaI (Tl) scintillation spectrometer, 5
- 1. Government Industrial Research Inst., Nagoya (Japan)
Description
Some characteristics of a portable measuring device and the data-processing system were examined. Compared with the manual processing method, the accuracy of the evaluated exposure rate was markedly improved and the measuring time can be reduced to about one-tenth with the same accuracy. At present the reproducibility of this system is about 15 % for 1000 sec accumulating time at the leakage dose rate of 1 μR/h. (author)
