Enamel for niobium and it alloys protection

Description

An enamel for niobium and its alloy protection is prepared. The invension permits to increase the coefficient of thermal expansion and the temperature of enamel softening. It contains additionally one oxide from the Cr2O3, MoO3, NiO, CoO group, and one oxide from the Ga2O3, La2O3, Y2O3, SnO2, In2O3 group. The coefficient of enamel thermal expansion is (70-78)x10-7 1/deg, the softening temperature is 860-890 deg C. The invension relates to the composition of silicate electroisolated enamels applied as protective coatings for niobium and niobium alloy coatings, it can be used as a heat-resistant insulating coating for components applied in engineering industry and operating in the air medium at 900 deg C
