Recent progress of large and integrated forgings for nuclear power plant

Description
Larger and integrated type forgings have been required by the increased capacity of nuclear power plants as well as from the purpose of inspectability and easier ISI. These steel forgings have been manufactured as a result of recent developments in manufacturing technologies based on a great deal of experience and research. From above standpoints, several examples of recent typical high quality steel forgings for PWR, BWR and HTTR are introduced. Also, the special test plates for evaluation of component reliability are introduced. (author)
