Characterization of the inorganic components of dust particles in the ambient air of Halle

Description
Together with the analysis of some organic components of dust particles in the ambient air of Halle their content of metals, anions and kations is also determined, using methods the described by Marfels et al. in their analogous study in Baden-Wuerttemberg (Report KfK-PUG 2,1992). Pb, Cd, Cu, Zn, Cr and As are determined by AAS. By ion chromatography, the contents of chloride, nitrate, sulfate, phosphate, fluoride and sodium, ammonia, potassium and calcium are analysed. Abstract (German)
Parallel zu den organischen Luftschadstoffen sollen Aussagen zur Langzeitbelastung des Halleschen Schwebstaubes mit ausgewaehlten Schwermetallen, Anionen und Kationen gewonnen werden. Mittels Graphitrohr- und Flammen-AAS wurden nach HNO3-Druckaufschluessen Blei, Cadmium, Kupfer, Zink, Chrom und Arsen bestimmt und die Ergebnisse mit denen anderer Autoren verglichen. Ionenchromatographisch wurden die auf PTFE-Filtern gewonnenen Staeube nach deren ultraschallunterstuetzten Aufloesung in Ethanol-Wasser (1:9) auf ihren Gehalt an Chlorid, Nitrit, Nitrat, Sulfat, Phosphat und Fluorid sowie Natrium, Ammonium, Kalium, Magnesium und Calcium untersucht und die Ergebnisse diskutiert.
