Electricity in France in 2008

The author presents and comments official statistics of the French production and consumption of electricity in 2008, as well as their evolution over the past years. Presented under the form of graphs and table showing their evolution, these data indicate the levels of exports and imports, the share of the different sources (nuclear, conventional thermal with various fuels, hydraulic, wind and photovoltaic) and of the different consumer sectors (transport, agriculture, industry, buildings, iron and steel industry) and the market shares of the different voltage levels (low, middle or high)
