Reactor activity and eigenvalue measurements
Description
This invention relates to a method of measuring the reactivity of a nuclear reactor automatically and on-line. Noise signals are developed by detectors placed in the reactor core and these noise signals are filtered through various combinations of narrow and wide band filters. The polarity coincidence between the filtered signals is used to develop parameters from which the reactivity and prompt dynamic eigenvalues of the reactor in a given reactivity state can be determined.
