Pulse radiolysis study of kinetics of palladium(2) oxidation by inorganic free radicals in acid aqueous solutions
Description
The method of pulse radiolysis (electrons, 5 MeV) has been applied to measure the constants of Pd(2) ion oxidation rates with OH radical, NO3 radical and SO4 radical in aqueous HNO3 and H2SO4 solutions. It is shown that the intraspheric mechanism of electron transfer including radical addition to Pd(2) ions in the axis perpendicular to the plane of aquaion square takes place in reactions studied
