Computerized mapping of contamination areas within the Chernobyl 30-km zone with technogeneous radionuclides

Description

Presented is a computer software for processing the data of radiation monitoring. The software is defined as an envelope for facilitating current jobs on compiling phonographical maps with superimposing isolines of a two-dimension field. In the process of compiling is a map of contaminated areas with radionuclides, and provision is made for determining sizes scales, compositions, choice of a radionuclide, conversion of its radioactivity into arbitrary values. The system of computerized mapping has been used for building the field of distributing radionuclides concentrations for the map at 35x35 km, the scale being 1:100000. The time of obtaining hard copy of the map is approximately 40 min
