Plunge type radioisotopic probe
Description
The invention is classified as plunge type radioisotopic probe working by method of scattering gamma-radiation and it would be used for wells study and pulp analysis on enrichment plant. The invention allows to increase radiation safety and construction simplification. Probe incorporates hermetically sealed body inside of which there are layer of absorbing material, radioactive source of radiation and detector block separated by protective screen. Protective screen is worked out in the form of truncated cone of composite type; there are both moveable and stationary parts. Inside of the stationary part there is arranged radioactive source of radiation. Protective screen with layer of absorbing material forms collimation system consisting from both an input collimators and an output collimators
