Generalized optical potentials for complex particles elastic scattering in the three-body problem approximation

Description
In framework of the three-body problem general expressions are obtained for calculation of the generalized optical potentials in scattering of composite particles on light nuclei. In particular, the potentials were calculated for elastic scattering of α particles on 7Li and of n, t, and α particles on 8Be. The results show that the obtained potentials contain not only the central potential close to the usual Woods-Saxon well, but also noncentral corrections that, in general, can not be approximated by the Woods-Saxon form or by its derivative. This fact distinguishes essentially the present approach from the coupled-channel method
