Effective and efficient software development method for real time safety systems for nuclear power plants

  • 1. Real Time Systems Division, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam (India)

Description

The objective of this paper is to present the effective and efficient methods for developing application software for Distributed Real Time Systems for Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor. It discusses the effective ways to reduce the language and syntax errors while capturing the requirements. This paper suggests an efficient way of requirements capture and coding application software for I and C systems so that the quality factors of the software such as reliability, maintainability and testability are improved.
