Description

Zinc, ferrous and manganese chloride solutions (2x10-4 M) sprayed on pea plants grown in γ-field produced a radioprotective effect, DMF being 1.35, 1.27 and 1.13 respectively. With acute γ-irradiation, DMF was higher (up to 1.59). With chronic exposure the highest radioprotective effect was produced by zinc chloride, and with acute irradiation that of ferrous chloride
