Mechanism of radiation-chemical transformations of heteropolytungstates of Si and P of the 11th and 12th series
Description
The method of low temperature (77 K) radiolysis combined with EPR and optical spectroscopy was used for the first time in the radiolytic study of Si and P heteropolytungstates (acids and salts) of the 11th and 12th series, both in aqueous or aqueous-alcohol solutions and in crystalline form. The products resulting from the radiolysis were identified, their yields, EPR and optical characteristics were determined. The data obtained were used for the description of the mechanisms of radiolytic transformations in the studied system. (author)
