Application of photoelectronic digital radiography to rheumatoid arthritis

Description

The application of photoelectronic digital radiology to the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis is reported. This research seeks to determine whether the increased spatial resolution and wider dynamic range of a photoelectronic radiographic imaging system improves the identification and characterization of the radiographic lesions of rheumatoid arthritis, including soft-tissue swelling, joint effusion, cortical thinning and erosions, and osteoporosis
