Description
In order to understand the radioactive radiation environment in certain area, the species, characteristics and distribution of natural radionuclides and the level of surface radioactive gamma radiation dose in certain area were detected by surface gamma radiation measurement. Through the processing of the surface γ energy spectrum data, it is learned that the specific activities of the nuclides 238U and 40K in the soil in the detection certain area are relatively high, while the content of 232Th is relatively low. The calculated average surface gamma radiation dose rate is 165.5 nGy/h, and the annual average effective dose of gamma radiation to residents is 0.81 mSv. The radiation level is basically within the standard range and it is still a normal radiation level area. (authors)
