Concerns over radiation protection problems emerging in application of medical radiological technology

For the being time, the study on medical radiation protection is not only focused on the protection of occupational workers and patients but also on the accompanied new radiotherapy technology. While enhancing medical radiation protection, this situation leads to a strong promotion of new radiotherapy technology. With the appearance of a new technology for diagnosis and therapy, concerns are directed to their application and promotion while ignoring the optimization and justification in medical application. Thus, concerns over such problems arise in medical radiation protection. This paper would place focus on the problems associated with new radiotherapy technology, like oriented therapy, intracavitary brachytherapy, stereotactic radiotherapy. (author)
