Description
J-PARC MR delivers 470 kW beam for T2K neutrino experiment and 45 kW for Hadron experiments. J-PARC plans to increase the repetition rate of the MR to reach the design value of 750 kW and to achieve the higher intensity beyond 1 MW. In this paper, we describe the possibility to increase the beam power to 3 MW using a bunch manipulation scheme. (author)
