Economics of DC distribution for fuel cell systems

Description
Many loads are naturally DC or would be better supplied by DC. The integration of distributed generation devices such as fuel cells and photovoltaic panels at the domestic level is discussed. A DC distribution standard is proposed with provision for local DC system islanding and a three phase to DC interface with the utility grid. (author)
