Nuclear energy: what to do with it
Creators
Description
In this article are detailed all the uses of radioactivity in human activities: nuclear medicine with diagnostic uses and therapeutic uses, irradiation of foods to preserve or sterilize them, determination of soldering quality, preservation of cultural objects by sterilization and age determination by carbon 14 use, the last possibility is actually the prevention of earthquakes since the japanese have discovered that before the Kobe earthquake, the radon rate had increased in water of Kobe, a survey of this radioactive gas should contribute to anticipate earth tremors.
