Description
Calculations have been made of the components, and their angular derivatives, of the stress produced in the slip plane of infinite straight dislocations in fcc and bcc metals. The results are presented in a compact manner by tabulating the coefficients of the Fourier series which fit the data to a high degree of accuracy. It is explained how the data can be used to incorporate elastic anisotropy into any two-dimensional dislocation problem in a straightforward way.
